Narayanpatna, Aug 19: A critical ill patient from Bar Kamudi village in Lulla Panchayat under Dasmantpur block was carried on cot for nearly 2 kilometers due to the absence of a motorable road.

According to reports, a medical team reached the village to transport the patient to a hospital, but their ambulance was forced to stop far from the destination as the village lacked any proper road connectivity.

With no other option, the team and local residents carried the patient on a cot through rough terrain to reach the ambulance.

From there, the victim was shifted to the hospital.

Reportedly, the health condition of the victim is stable now.
