Puri, Oct 29: Bodies will reportedly be cremated at Puri Swargadwara with cow dung wood instead of firewood soon.

Department of Fisheries and Animal Resources is preparing a plan on this initiative.

According to the information, officials have already started discussions on the proposal and sought inputs in this regard from the Swargadwara managing committee. The government is likely to finalise its plans and implement it soon.
