Puri, Apr 12: BJP national president JP Nadda Saturday gave party MLAs and MPs various tips to remain connected with people by ensuring the benefits of various welfare programmes reach them and listening to their problems at different times.

Nadda gave MLAs and MPs 'Guru Mantra' at a three-day training camp inaugurated by him at the Swami Narayan Temple in Puri. During his one-hour speech, he emphasized that leaders always stay connected with people and work for their welfare on the ground.

The national president spoke on 14 points relating to ethical governance, strong organisation, and good relationships with the people.

Presiding over the first session, Nadda advised the people's representatives to have a good rapport with Dalit families and ensure that the benefits of government programmes reach them.

In the second session, Puri MP Sambit Patra spoke about social media usage. Sambit taught how to counter the opposition on social media, as well as how to spread the government's people-oriented schemes.

In the third session, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan trained MPs and MLAs on Sankalp se Siddhi and Modi's Viksit Bharat vision.

The fourth session was presided over by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

There will also be four sessions tomorrow. National co-general secretary (organisation) V Satish, national general secretary and Odisha in-charge Sunil Bansal, and national general secretary (organisation) B L Santhosh will attend one session each.

Today, Nadda also inaugurated a photo exhibition. The history and struggle of the BJP organisation were depicted through photos. BJP's victorious journey, gradual increase in vote share, the party's principles and ideology, humane aspects, and leadership were showcased. Potraits of various Besha (attire) of Lord Jagannath and aspects of Jagannath culture were also exhibited.
