Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: Former Rajnagar MLA Anshuman Mohanty resigned from primary membership of Congress on Wednesday.
According to the initial information, he had sent his resignation to OPCC president Sarat Pattanayak.
With Anshuman's resignation, the political speculation roaming around in Rajnagar came to an end.
"Anshuman is a mass leader and his quitting the Congress is likely to affect the party", said Pattamundai's Congress president.

✨Anshuman won his first election to the state Assembly Elections in 2014 from Rajnagar in Kendrapada, when he avenged his father’s 2009 defeat. He, however, lost the 2019 election to BJD’s Dhruba Sahoo.
