✨"We have been forced to resort to a shutdown to express our concern over weak Mandi system, cut of 5 to 8 kg of per quintal of paddy, sack scam and millers' shrewd activities in the district," said activists.
They said farmers of Deogarh have suffered a lot due to the negligence of the district administration and the State government. They demanded the Mandi system be streamlined and all paddy be procured from farmers at right prices.
Adequate police personnel have been deployed to ensure that no untoward incident occurs during the bandh.
