30: Trouble has
mounted for Subhankar Mishra after senior servitor Gourahari Pradhan lodged a
complaint at Singhadwar police station. Mishra is accused of spreading misinformation
on social media about the Puri Jagannath Temple and Lord Jagannath.
His comments
sparked widespread criticism across Odisha. Mishra had claimed that couples
visiting the temple before marriage cannot wed and further alleged that the
shrine is under Radha Rani’s curse.

The
controversy drew official attention, with the District Collector announcing
that action would be taken. Puri SP also confirmed that a complaint has been
