Bhubaneswar, Mar 12: Ahead of Holi, the Commissionerate Police today issued special guidelines for the citizens. 
The police have cautioned necessary and preventive action against anti-social elements.

According to the guidelines, the Commissionerate Police urged citizens not to enter rivers after playing Holi. Anybody found playing Holi under the influence of alcohol will be arrested.

Police along with Fire Services personnel will be deployed at all major river ghats. As many as 20 platoons of police force will be deployed at every zone of the city.

Besides, those who will found violating rules will be taken into custody.

While special focus will be given to curb the illegal sale of liquor, drunk and driving will be monitored strictly, said the senior officer.
