Fire and police personnel are searching for the student, identified as Chaitanya (19), a resident of Saipriya Nagar of Rayagada town. He was studying in the UGMIT.
According to the information, Chaitanya along with his friends had gone to take a bath in the dam water yesterday. They were swimming when Chaitray drowned.
