Key Points

Odisha is set for colder nights as temperatures may fall by up to four degrees, bringing stronger winter conditions, patchy rainfall in northern districts and dense fog in some areas.

Bhubaneswar, Nov 8: Odisha is likely to witness a gradual increase in winter conditions over the coming days as night temperatures are expected to fall by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius across several parts of the state.

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, the decline in minimum temperatures will lead to a noticeable rise in the intensity of cold weather, particularly during the night and early morning hours.

Weather officials stated that there is currently no significant weather system influencing Odisha. Although a trough line extends from southern Chhattisgarh to Jharkhand, it is not expected to have any major impact on the state's weather conditions.
