Addressing a large gathering at the Krushak Shakti Samabesh in Patharchepa ground, the Chief Minister announced the establishment of a sugar mill and an agriculture college in the district.
“Our government has always prioritized agriculture and allied sectors. In the financial year 2025–26, the agriculture budget has been doubled. The Krushi Vidyanidhi Yojana offers scholarships to the children of farmers for pursuing higher education,” he said. “In addition, schemes such as the Mukhyamantri Kamdhenu Yojana, Amrit Anna Yojana, Mukhyamantri Prani Kalyan Yojana, Mukhyamantri Matsyajibi Kalyan Yojana, and the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana are contributing significantly to the development of agriculture and the welfare of farmers.”
