Bhubaneswar, Jun 5: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended a special screening of Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film Bharat Bhagya Vidhata in Bhubaneswar on Friday. The film, scheduled for release on June 12, portrays the extraordinary courage of hospital workers during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
CM Majhi’s Remarks
In a tweet in Odia, the Chief Minister praised the film’s
depiction of nurses who risked their lives to save others during the attacks.
He lauded Kangana Ranaut’s efforts, noting that her hard work and success in
cinema serve as an inspiration for newcomers. Majhi added that the film’s
message of patriotism and sacrifice would resonate strongly with the youth.

At the trailer launch, Ranaut explained that the film’s
title was inspired by terminology used by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
celebrating unsung heroes and the labour class. She emphasized that the film
aims to highlight the bravery and sacrifices of frontline workers during one of
India’s darkest hours.

Prior to the screening, CM Majhi and Kangana Ranaut participated in the nationwide campaign Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam by planting saplings at the Chief Minister’s official residence in Bhubaneswar, marking World Environment Day and reinforcing the state’s commitment to environmental conservation.
