Ghatgaon, June 23: The first visit of Mohan Charan Majhi as the Chief Minister of Odisha to Keonjhar turned out to be a special one for the citizens of the district, especially those from Ghatgaon.
The Keonjhar citizens were already elated for the homecoming -- a two-day visit -- of CM Majhi, who is a native of Keonjhar district, Raikala to be precise. However, a few words of Majhi made the people even more delighted.
Majhi Sunday announced additional grant of Rs 50 crore for the Maa Tarini Pitha in Ghatgaon. Notably, an identical amount has been granted earlier for the said place and development works are underway, thus making the total grant amounts to be a staggering Rs 100 crore.

✨"The Maa Tarini Pitha will become a national level tourist destination. I will send a proposal on this regard to Centre," said CM Majhi to the delight of people before announcing the additional grant of Rs 50 crore for the Maa Tarini Pitha.
