Sambalpur, Apr 21, 2025: The Sambalpur Municipal Corporation is all set to host a large-scale public grievance hearing by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday. The event is designed to address grievances of one thousand people, for which the registration process, both online and offline, has been completed.


With 11 ministers and senior government officials scheduled to attend, the administration has left no stone unturned in its preparations. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari recently reviewed the arrangements, ensuring smooth operations for the redressal process.


Security has been tightened across the venue, with 18 platoons of police force deployed, including additional SPs, SDPOs, and officers at key locations. Traffic and parking management have been carefully planned along National Highway-53 leading up to the Municipal Corporation office.

The hearing, slated to begin at 8 AM, will allow individuals to present grievances with proper documentation, including registration slips and ID proofs such as Aadhar Card. Officials have assured that many issues will be resolved on the spot, marking a significant step toward responsive governance.
