Cuttack, Dec 24: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will unveil a statue of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Cuttack city today.
The life-size statue of Vajpayee, made of 10 quintals of bronze, measures 10 ft in height. Eighteen artisans worked for 35 days to make the statue.
The statue has been erected near the Judicial Academy. Atal Bihari Vajpayee's statue unveiling assumes significance as the former Prime Minister's birth anniversary will be celebrated tomorrow.
