Bhubaneswar, Jan 1: As we welcome 2025 bidding adieu to 2024, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and other political leaders extend heartfelt wishes for a prosperous year ahead.

"My best wishes to my dear sisters and brothers of Odisha on the occasion of the English New Year. May the new year be blessed for everyone by the grace of Mahaprabhu Lord Jagannath," wrote CM Majhi on his official 'X' (Formerly twitter) handle.

Pradhan, on the other hand, wished everyone to have new aspirations. "New calendar, New aspirations, New hope! Wish everyone a superb 2025," wrote the Union Education Minister on his 'X' handle.

"Best wishes for 2025! May the New Year bring happiness, good health and prosperity in your life," the post added.

Deputy Chief Ministers of Odisha -- KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida -- also extended their wishes to the people of Odisha.

"Wishing you all a most joyous and prosperous New Year 2025. May this year bring you unparalleled peace and happiness. It is my earnest prayer to Prabhu Jagannath that each one of you experiences a year of immense blessings and tranquility," Singh Deo wrote in his post, which includes a video message as well.

Dy CM Parida wrote, "Jay Maa Taratarini. I pray that Maa Taratarini bless everyone in the new year. #Happy New Year."
