Sonepur, June 7: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate 63 development projects worth Rs 851 crore in Sonepur today.
The district administration has made extensive preparations for the visit, ensuring tight security measures.
A total of 10 platoons of police force have been deployed, along with two Additional SPs, eight DSPs, and 14 Inspectors to oversee security arrangements.
Upon arrival at the temporary helipad, the Chief Minister will first proceed to the Circuit House before addressing a public gathering at Rameshwar Stadium. The event is expected to witness the presence of Balangir MP Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo and Birmaharajpur MLA Raghunath Jagdala, among other dignitaries.
