Bhubaneswar, May 22: Odisha is on the brink of an industrial transformation, as Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to lay the foundation stones for 12 new projects and inaugurate four others in Jajpur’s Sukinda today.

These initiatives mark a significant milestone, not merely as proposals but as concrete steps toward the state's industrialisation dream. Thousands of youth are expected to gain employment as a result of these efforts.

The BJP government’s "double-engine" administration continues to drive development, bringing Odisha into a new era of industrial prosperity. Kalinganagar is set to witness yet another milestone in the state's economic growth.

With a total investment of Rs 1.14 lakh crore, these projects signal a dynamic shift in Odisha’s industrial sector.

Among the projects being launched today, the newly built Jatia Steel Plant in Sukinda stands as a key highlight, alongside the inauguration of four major companies.

Additionally, Chief Minister Majhi will lay the foundation stone for Tata’s Rs 63,000 crore industrial project. These projects are expected to generate employment opportunities for nearly 34,000 youths across the state, reinforcing Odisha’s position as a rising industrial hub.
