Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving the conversion of 92 Railway Over
Bridge (ROB) projects in the state to be fully funded and executed by the
Indian Railways.

In a post on social media platform X, CM Majhi hailed the decision as a “visionary initiative” that reflects the Centre’s strong commitment to enhancing safety and accelerating connectivity across Odisha. He noted that the move will ensure faster project execution, safer travel, and improved road-rail integration for citizens.
“The approval for conversion of 92 Railway Over Bridge works to
100 percent Railway funding and execution by the Railways as a single entity
reflects the Centre’s strong commitment to enhancing safety and accelerating
connectivity across the state,” Majhi stated.
