New Delhi, Oct 4: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s visit to New Delhi on Saturday marked a significant step in strengthening both governance and party strategy.

 

During his trip, CM Majhi met Vice President CP Radhakrishnan and BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda, sharing Odisha’s developmental roadmap and discussing future initiatives.

 

In his meeting with the Vice President, CM Majhi presented the ‘Odisha Vision 2036 & 2047’, a comprehensive blueprint outlining the state’s long-term goals. He briefed the Vice President on the government’s welfare programmes, infrastructure plans, and inclusive development strategies.


 

“Had the opportunity to pay a courtesy call on Hon’ble Vice President Shri CP Radhakrishnan ji in New Delhi today. On this occasion, I shared details of our government’s development initiatives, welfare programmes, and future roadmap for the state. I also presented the 'Odisha Vision 2036 | 2047', outlining Odisha’s long-term goals. Grateful for his guidance and encouragement,” Majhi tweeted, reflecting the importance of national support in realizing Odisha’s aspirations.

Earlier in the day, CM Majhi met BJP chief Nadda to discuss organizational matters and the evolving political landscape in Odisha. The conversation focused on strengthening the BJP’s presence in the state and aligning future initiatives with the party’s national vision. Majhi described the meeting as “inspiring,” noting Nadda’s leadership and strategic insights.


 

“Today in New Delhi, I had the privilege of calling on our party’s Hon’ble National President and Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji. We discussed organizational matters, the current political scenario, and the roadmap for future initiatives. His visionary guidance will continue to inspire us to serve with dedication and commitment,” CM Majhi wrote in a post on X, formerly twitter.

 

The visit comes at a time when Odisha is undergoing a political transformation under the BJP-led government. CM Majhi’s interactions in Delhi are seen as part of a broader effort to build synergy between the state and central leadership, ensuring cohesive planning and execution.
