Bhubaneswar, May 19: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday conducted a public grievance hearing, shifting the usual grievance cell proceedings to an open space near Capital Nursery in Bhubaneswar.

This move signifies an effort to enhance transparency and accessibility for the people.

Previously, such hearings were held outside the capital, with the last one taking place in Sambalpur. In a fresh approach post-government formation, the Chief Minister has taken an active role in personally engaging with citizens, listening to their concerns, and addressing various governance-related issues firsthand.

By stepping away from traditional bureaucratic settings, the government aims to ensure faster resolution of public grievances. Residents welcomed the initiative, appreciating the direct interaction between the administration and the people.
