Bhubaneswar, Aug 1: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving the Dangoaposi - Jaroli 3rd and 4th rail line.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister wrote: "Heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi and Hon’ble Railway Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw ji for approving the Dangoaposi - Jaroli 3rd and 4th rail line. Implemented under the #PMGatiShakti National Master Plan, the project will boost connectivity, create jobs, and strengthen logistics, especially in Odisha’s tribal and mining regions. This is yet another example of the strength of the double engine government delivering double vikas, accelerating our journey towards a Samruddha Odisha and Vikshit Bharat,” tweeted the Chief Minister.
The project, part of a Rs 11,169 crore package approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), aims to strengthen rail connectivity across Odisha and Jharkhand, particularly benefiting the mineral-rich Keonjhar region.
The projects are planned under the PM-Gati Shakti National Master Plan, focusing on enhancing multi-modal connectivity and logistic efficiency through integrated planning and stakeholder consultations. These projects will provide seamless connectivity for the movement of people, goods, and services.
