Bhubaneswar, May 23: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today chaired a high-level meeting in Lok Seva Bhawan on matters relating to the Puri Govardhan Peeth.
During the deliberations, focus was given on the protection and conservation of the Peeth.
It was decided to safeguard the samadhi sites of all previous Acharyas and strengthen the security arrangements for the Jagadguru Nischalananda Saraswati.

✨Besides, it was decided to upgrade the Govardhan Goshala on the peeth premises and to make the Mahodadhi Sandhya Arati site more attractive.
Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, SJTA Chief Administrator Arabandi Padhee, Puri Collector, and SP attended the meeting, among others.
