Bhubaneswar, July 23: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi appointed Boudh MLA Saroj Kumar Pradhan as the Government Chief Whip and Remuna MLA Gobinda Chandra as the Government Deputy Chief Whip  of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly.

Notably, Chief Minister and Minister of Finance Mohan Charan Majhi will present the state budget on July 25.

CM Majhi said that "BJP will table the first budget in the Odisha Assembly on July 25, which will empower every community and person in the state," he added.

He also said that the people of the state will now interact directly with the CM, as they couldn't get access to or meet directly with the Chief Minister of the state for several years. It's only possible under the BJP government.
