Keonjhar, May 5: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday graced the 161st State-level Dharanidhar Naik birth anniversary at his birthplace, Kusumita, in Keonjhar district today.
Dharanidhar Naik, a revolutionary leader, is revered for his contributions to the freedom struggle.
To mark Naik's birthday, the Chief Minister garlanded his statue at his village and visited the houses of his descendants. The Chief Minister also talked to Naik's descendants.

✨On the occasion, Chief Minister Majhi announced that the native village of Dharanidarh Naill will be developed as a heritage village with a park, playground, lifesize statue, museum, library, all to be named after the revolutionary leader.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated projects, totalling 340, worth Rs 1145 crore. He announced that There will be 30 industrial projects in the district at a cost of Rs 1.29 lakh crore. He said that 30 to 35 thousand youth and women will get jobs.
