Bolangir, July 24: At least 17 tourists from nearby Chhattisgarh region, who reportedly got stranded on the dense Gandhamardan hills on Wednesday evening, have been rescued.
According to reports, the stranded tourists include men, women, and some young kids.
According to sources, the group was en route from Nrusinghanath to Harishankar when they are believed to have lost their way. Responding to alerts, teams from the fire Department, police, along with the forest department officials launched a search operation. But were unbale to locate them.
However, they were later located and rescued.
