Bhubaneswar, Sept 1: Sitaram Patro, Block Education Officer (BEO), Chhatrapur, Ganjam, has been placed under arrest by Odisha Vigilance in disproportionate assets (DA) case, said a statement by the state vigilance.
Based on searches conducted on properties of Sitaram Patro, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including three multi storeyed buildings, deposits over Rs. 35.61 Lakhs, cash Rs. 6.50 Lakhs, one four wheeler, etc, which the state vigilance said "he could not explain satisfactorily."
Following this, Sitaram Patro has been placed under arrest and will forwarded to the Court.
