Bhubaneswar, Oct 17: In a significant administrative development, Chanchal Rana (IAS) officially assumed charge as the 27th Vice Chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) on Friday. Known for his dynamic leadership and strategic foresight, Rana’s appointment is expected to bring renewed momentum to the city’s urban transformation agenda.
On his first day in office, Rana convened a high-level
meeting with senior BDA officials, including Secretary Manas Ranjan Padhi, to
outline key developmental priorities. The discussions focused on charting a
comprehensive roadmap aimed at enhancing infrastructure, improving urban
governance, and accelerating Bhubaneswar’s evolution into a modern, smart, and
clean city.
