Centre Approves Modernised Fish Market Project At Bhubaneswar’s Pandara

Bhubaneswar, Mar 13: The Centre has given its nod for the modernised fish market project at Pandara area in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi has been in discussions with the state government about this project for a long time.
In September 2024, the MP met with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to discuss the details of this project. After obtaining the state government's approval, the project was sent to the Centre, who has also given its nod.
On this occasion, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi expressed her gratitude to the double-engine government for their support. “It's a matter of pride that the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying has approved this project,” said Sarangi.
The modernised fish market will be constructed on a plot of 5.80 acres near Pandara, with a sanctioned grant of Rs 50 crores.
