Bhubaneswar, Feb 19: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has conducted a raid at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar Wednesday over the recruitment scam.
The CBI conducted the raid reportedly after getting a tip as the AIIMS Bhubaneswar came under the scanner allegedly for hiring candidates having forged documents.
As per the report, the CBI team has questioned several people, which include some permanent employees as well, in connection with the scam. In addition, they have also examined various documents.
The report says that CBI has found proof of AIIMS Bhubaneswar has hired people with forged documents for 775 posts.
Smruti Ranjan Kar, who is the alleged mastermind of the recruitment scam, is in CBI remand.
