Jashipur (Mayurbhanj), May 5: In a swift operation, Jashipur police intercepted a pickup van attempting to smuggle 10 cows in broad daylight near Badamapahad Chhak, Jashipur Bazaar. The police successfully seized the vehicle and detained one suspect involved in the illegal transportation.

The incident unfolded when the police noticed suspicious activity and attempted to stop the vehicle. The smugglers, in an attempt to evade capture, tried to flee but were cornered and apprehended. The cows were being transported from Chadeibhol to Hatabadada, raising concerns over the increasing cases of cattle smuggling in the region.
