Cattle-Laden Truck Seized In Odisha’s Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Mar 10: In a big success for Bhubaneswar police, a cattle-laden pickup van has been seized in the capital city of Odisha.
According to reports, the smugglers were smuggling cows in a pickup van, which reportedly had a special hidden chamber.
However, PCR officials had doubts after spotting the van and, in suspicion, they followed the cattle-laden pickup van and managed to stop the vehicle near Patrapada, outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
After searching, they found 16 cows in the pickup van, out of which, two were already dead, while 14 cows were alive.
After seizing the van, PCR shifted the 14 cows to a cowshed near AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The PCR officials also detained the driver. They later handed over the van and the driver to Bharatpur police.
