Bhubaneswar, Jan 25: In a tragic accident, a person was killed and four others sustained injuries, some of them critically, as a car rammed into a tree on the Puri bypass road in Bhubaneswar last night.

Dense fog is said to be the reason behind the mishap.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital first. However, they were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, given their critical condition.

According to the information, the incident took place when they were returning from a dinner party. On being informed, police and Fire personnel reached the spot, rescued the injured ones, and rushed them to hospital.
