Sundargarh, Dec 13: In a tragic mishap, two persons were killed as a motorcycle, on which they were traveling, collided head-on with a car at Barahpali under Lefripada police station limits in Sundargarh district on Tuesday afternoon. 

The deceased youths were yet to be identified. The car driver managed to flee from the spot. 

Tension ran high at the spot as locals gathered large numbers and blocked the road. 

On being informed, local police rushed to the spot and were trying to placate the situation.
