Koraput, May 16: A devastating road accident occurred near Gaudaguda Chhak on National Highway 326, under the jurisdiction of Baipariguda Police Station, late last night. A car lost control and crashed into a tree, leading to the tragic loss of three lives at the scene, while several others sustained critical injuries.

The injured victims have been rushed to Jeypore Medical and other nearby healthcare centers for urgent medical attention.

Among the deceased were members of Sudhipta Kumar Singh Samanta’s family from Nayagarh, who were en route to Malkangiri when the accident happened.

Early reports suggest that the driver, Sudhipta Kumar Singh Samanta, momentarily lost visibility, which resulted in the fatal crash. The local police have initiated an investigation and have seized the accident-stricken vehicle.

This heartbreaking incident has plunged the families of the victims into deep sorrow.
