Rayagada, Sep 15: In a troubling incident early Monday, a passenger bus named Golden Rock veered off the roadside near Rafukana Chhak in Rayagada district, leaving more than 30 passengers injured. The bus was en route from Gunupur to Jaypur when the accident occurred.

According to local sources, 22 passengers sustained minor injuries and were immediately rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. Police officials arrived promptly at the scene and coordinated the rescue efforts, ensuring all injured individuals received medical attention.

Eyewitnesses reported that the bus lost control while navigating a curve, leading to the sudden plunge off the road.
