Bargarh, Aug 9: More than 20 passengers were injured, two of them critically, as a bus, in which they were travelling, met with an accident on the Sambalpur-Damanjodi NH at Kusanpur under Bargarh district early this morning. 

The injured persons were soon rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital, Bargarh. The critically injured were later shifted to the Vir Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla for better treatment.  

According to the information, the ill-fated private bus, 'Bulbul' was on its way from Sambalpur to Damanjodi when its driver lost control over its wheels. The bus skidded off the road and overturned. 

On being informed, Bargrh Sadar and Barpali police went to the spot and rescued the passengers through ambulances.
