Berhampur, Apr 13: More than 20 passengers were injured as a bus, in which they were travelling, hit a truck on National Highway 16 at Langaleswar under Khallikote police station in Ganjam district early Sunday morning.
The private bus, named Balunkeswar, was on its way from Bhubaneswar to Aska when it rear-ended a truck.
Fearing public anger, the driver, conductor, and helper of the bus fled from the accident spot. All the injured have been shifted to Khallikote Hospital for treatment.
