Cuttack, Oct 14: In a shocking incident, two persons were killed and several others had a close shave as a bus caught fire and was burnt fully following an accident at Chhatia on National Highway 16 on Monday morning. 

According to the information, the bus carrying passengers was en-route Balasore to Cuttack when it hit a motorcycle. After this, the bus caught fire. While passengers got down safely, the two, who were travelling on the motorcycle, reportedly died on the spot. 

On being informed, Fire Service personnel of Chandikhole rushed to the spot and douse the flame. 
Vehiculare movement on the route was disrupted for nearly an hour.
