Bus Collides With Coal-Laden Truck In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore, Jul 19: Over 30 persons sustained injuries after the bus they were travelling in collided with a coal-laden Truck on NH 60 near Junabalada under Basta police limits in Balasore district.
According to reports, a passenger bus, carrying around 50 passengers, was enroute to Kolkata from Bhubaneswar when it collided with a stationary truck. As a result, 30 passengers inside the vehicle sustained injuries.
Following the incident, the victims were rescued and rushed to nearby hospital for further treatment.
The impact of the collision was severe, leading to complete damage to the front section of the bus.
Both the truck and the bus have been reportedly seized by the police.
The bus driver has been detained for questioning and an investigation is currently underway.
