BSKY Cards In Force In All Hospitals: Minister Mahaling

Bhubaneswar, Aug 3: The Biju Swatshya Kalayan Yojana (BSKY), a health scheme that bears health expenditure of cardholders upto Rs 5 lakh for men and Rs 10 lakh for women, will remain enforceable until the passing of the full Annual Budget in the State Assembly.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling stated this Saturday.
The Minister said all government and private hospitals, enrolled to implement the BSKY, will continue to provide health services to people.

✨A budgetary allocation has been made for Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana. After the full budget is passed in September, the GJAY will be implemented in phases. New health cards will be distributed to people. Till that time, all government and private hospitals will implement the BSKY cards, said the Health Minister.
He refuted the allegation that BSKY cards have been stalled. He said the State government has directed hospitals to continue providing health services to BSKY card holders.
