Brown Sugar Seized In Puri, Three Smugglers Held

Chandanpur, Aug 30: In a significant breakthrough, Chandanpur Police have seized over 100 grams of brown sugar and arrested three individuals involved in the illegal trade.
The accused persons were identified as Pradip Kumar Panda, Litu Pradhan, and Niranjan Parida.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid at Bahabalpur Square on New Jagannath Sadak and arrested Pradip, Litu and Niranjan with around 157.38 grams of brown sugar.

In addition to the contraband, authorities also recovered cash amounting to Rs 1,63,520.
