Deogarh, May 22: A heartbreaking incident unfolded near Tailesara, under the jurisdiction of Kundheigola police station in Deogarh district, as a family fishing trip turned into a tragedy.

A boat capsized in the Rengali Reservoir, leading to the drowning of two minor brothers, while their mother remains missing. The father, who was also onboard, survived after he managed to swim to ashore.

According to reports, the family had ventured into the reservoir for fishing when the accident occurred. The boat overturned, throwing all four members into the water. While the bodies of the two young boys have been recovered, search operations are still underway to locate the missing mother.

Local authorities, along with community volunteers, are conducting extensive rescue efforts. The incident has left the village in mourning, with residents gathering near the reservoir in shock and grief.

Officials have assured that all available resources are being deployed to find the missing woman and provide support to the grieving family.
