BJP Worker Killed In Road Mishap, Family Alleges Murder

Angul, Apr 23: A 38-year-old man was killed after being crushed by a speeding pickup van in Nuagaon village under Bagedia police station jurisdiction. The deceased has been identified as BJP worker Binod Kumar Sahu.

According to reports, the incident occurred near Baramula Chhak when the victim, a relative of former sarpanch and BJP leader Govind Chandra Sahu, was returning home.

Following the incident, Binod was rushed to Chhendipada Health Center in critical condition, however, he succumbed to his injuries.

Police have launched an investigation, with the Additional SP leading the inquiry, family members have alleged murder over past enmity.
