Bhubaneswar, Jan 5: BJP State president Manmohan Samal on Friday said the BJP will form governments both at the Centre and the State (Odisha) by winning a majority of seats in the upcoming general elections. 

Samal stated this after attending a two-day party meeting at Rourkela. Failures of the BJD government and support and assistance provided to Odisha by the Narendra Modi Government were discussed in detail. 

Samal alleged that the BJD government has failed to provide protection and support to women, youth, and farmers in the last 24 years. While the Modi Government has provided 18.83 lakh crore as Central assistance and support to Odisha in just nine years, the BJD Government has failed to take account of the same. 

 He alleged that minerals were theft massively during the 24 hours of the BJD government. He said more than 1.5 crore people have gone outside to work as bonded laborers. The culture, heritage, and traditions of the State have been damaged. 

Among others, BJP national general secretary BL Santosh, Odisha-in-charge Sunil Bansal, and assistant pravari Bijay Pal Singh attended the brainstorming meeting held ahead of the general elections.
