Bhubaneswar, July 9: The executive meeting of the State BJP is likely to be held in Puri for two days on July 19 and 20 to discuss various issues concerning the political scenario of Odisha and people's interests. 

Party sources said senior BJP national leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will join the meeting to be presided over by State President Manmohan Samal. 

As it has formed a government in Odisha for the first time, the BJP is likely to carve out action plans for fulfilling all promises made in the election manifesto. Party's Odisha in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar and co-in-charge Lata Usendi, all elected BJP MLAs and MPs, and State executive members will attend the meeting 

A political resolution will be passed at this executive meeting. 

"As the ruling party, the BJP will take up political programmes in the interests of Odisha and its people. Thus a political resolution will be passed following discussions in the presence of the Central leaders," said a party leader. 

This will be the first executive meeting of the BJP after its massive victory in the general elections held recently.
