Bhubaneswar, Jan 29: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday reviewed its organisational preparedness in Odisha, holding a special state-level meeting at the party office in Bhubaneswar, informed the party's State general secretary Biranchi Narayan Tripathy.
The meeting brought together legislators, state office
bearers, district presidents, district in-charges, and Assembly candidates to
assess grassroots structures and discuss upcoming electoral strategies.
Chaired by BJP state president Manmohan Samal, the meeting
was attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, state in-charge Vijay Pal
Singh Tomar, and general secretary (organisation) Manas Kumar Mohanty. Leaders
deliberated on strengthening party committees from the booth level to district
units, including mandal and morcha committees, with emphasis on completing
organisational work swiftly.

Speaking to media persons here, Tripathy said the meeting
focused on reviewing the party’s organisational framework and preparing action
plans for upcoming elections. He noted that discussions also centred on
ensuring effective implementation of welfare schemes, particularly the “VB-G RAM G”
initiative aimed at poverty alleviation and grassroots empowerment.
Tripathy added that the BJP, as a political organisation,
remains fully prepared for elections and continues to align its organisational
discipline with pro-people programmes of both the Centre and the state
government. The meeting emphasized the party’s intent to consolidate its
presence in Odisha by combining welfare-driven governance with strengthened
grassroots structures.
