Bhubaneswar, Sep 1: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Odisha unit organized a state-level workshop at its headquarters in Bhubaneswar to prepare for the upcoming ‘Seva Pakhya’ campaign.
The initiative, which will run from September 17 to October 2, is being held to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will feature a series of service-oriented programs across the state.
The workshop has been attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal, along with BJP Odisha in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar and central observer for Seva Pakhya, Arvind Menon.
The leaders emphasized the importance of grassroots engagement and community service as part of the party’s outreach strategy.

During the campaign period, BJP will conduct various welfare activities including cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, health check-up camps, photo exhibitions based on the life of PM Modi, and distribution of books. These programs aim to promote public welfare and strengthen the party’s connection with citizens.
The workshop also served as a planning platform for district, mandal, and block-level coordination to ensure smooth execution of the campaign. Party workers were encouraged to actively participate and mobilize local communities for maximum impact.
The BJP leadership reiterated that Seva Pakhya is not just a
celebration but a commitment to service, reflecting the values and vision of PM
Modi. The campaign will culminate on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, reinforcing the
message of cleanliness, compassion, and civic responsibility.
