Bhubaneswar, May 16: BJP National President Nitin Nabin will arrive in Odisha on Sunday for a two-day visit, his first since assuming the party’s top post. The visit is expected to energize the state unit and strengthen organizational strategies ahead of upcoming elections.
Nabin is scheduled to land at Bhubaneswar airport on Sunday night via a regular passenger flight. The Odisha BJP camp is visibly enthusiastic about Nabin’s maiden visit as national president.
In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for simplicity amid the global oil crisis, his welcome will be conducted in a modest manner. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, BJP State President Manmohan Samal, and senior leaders will greet him at the airport, according to party spokesperson Sudipta Ray.

On May 18, Nabin will participate in the State Core Committee meeting at the party’s state office. Later, he will inaugurate the Pandit Deendayal Training Maha Abhiyan-2026 camp organized by Bhubaneswar organizational district at the AIPH University campus near IIT Jatani.

✨Following this, Nabin will travel to Puri to seek blessings of Lord Jagannath and partake in the sacred Mahaprasad.
Returning to Bhubaneswar, he will attend meetings with state office bearers, morcha presidents, and the council of ministers to review coordination between government and organization, assess grassroots activities, and discuss upcoming programs.
The state BJP has already held preparatory meetings to ensure smooth arrangements for the president’s visit. Nabin’s presence is expected to provide new direction and momentum to the party in Odisha.
In the evening, Nabin will depart from Bhubaneswar airport for Delhi, concluding his two-day tour. State media coordinator Sujit Kumar Das was also present during the announcement of the itinerary.
