BJP Makes Big Strategy For 2024 Elections, Hopes To Get More Than 50% Votes

The BJP has carved out its strategy to take on the main rival ruling BJD and to emerge winner by garnering more than 50 percent of votes from each booth in the coming Parliament and Assembly elections in Odisha in 2024. 

Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: The BJP has carved out its strategy to take on the main rival ruling BJD and to emerge winner by garnering more than 50 percent of votes from each booth in the coming Parliament and Assembly elections in Odisha in 2024. 

The strategy will be implemented from January 5, 2024, accoding to the decision taken at the party's executive meeting held here today.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda will visit the State. 

BJP Odisha-in-charge Sunil Bansal and additional-in-charge Bijayapal Singh Tomal held a marathon meeting and discussed the strategy in detail with BJP State executives and district presidents. The BJP won't make any alliance or seat-sharing pact with any other party in the State. 

Five clusters will be created for a total 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly seats. A campaign will be undertaken on a mission mode to reach 1 crore families. Booth-level conferences, meetings, and Samabesh will be organised. 
Workers and Leaders will talk to people about 157 schemes undertaken by the Union Government, said state President Manmohan Samal.

It may be mentioned here that the BJP pushed back Congress and emerged as the second-largest party in Odisha in the 2019 elections. BJP garnered 8 Lok Sabha seats from Odisha with a 38.37 percent vote share. In this election, BJD got 42.76 percent votes and Congress 14.73 percent votes. The BJD and the BJP had a vote difference of 10 lakhs only. 

"Modi guarantee has recently given satisfactory results to BJP in elections held in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The people of Odisha have also built trust on the Modi guarantee. The BJP will certainly emerge as the single largest party by getting more than 50% votes," said Samal.
