✨Opening of the Chari Dwar was a long-standing demand of devotees. Taking Jagannath lovers' sentiment, the BJP had promised to open the doors if voted to power.
"We are happy that we can enter the Shreemandir without any restriction. We will see our Lord in a hassle-free manner," said a devotee.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leader Suresh Pujari said an investigation will be conducted into the closure of Chari Dwar of the Shree Jagannath Temple. "A report has been sought as to why Chari Dwas remained closed, why attempts were not made and what were the hurdles," Pujari told reporters.
